Revolver Shot | Anything but Battle Buddies | H3VR
Dave has been playing and I've been recording alot of Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades VR (also called H3VR) the past couple months. I'm just now getting to editing and posting the videos on the Battle Buddies YouTube channel. (Finals for summer semester kicked my ass; Gotta earn them A's!) This is the first of many great moments we captured.
As you'll watch in the video, Dave started another round of Hardcore Ricky Dicky Random, where all the weapon spawns are random. He got the unfortunate low-tier spawn of a single-action revolver (meaning it was not automatic; he had to pull back the hammer between each shot). He proceeded to spin it, for fun, but we both wanted to find out how accurate his spin-to-snapshot could be. The result was both surprising and also not-at-all unexpected.
As he makes his way towards his first (and only) hotdog victim, he has an excellent spin going. His first (and only) shot hits the Sosig square in the chest, which, in terms of accuracy, means he'd earned a 100% hit rate. However, the old revolver definitely wouldn't penetrate modern body armor, which all the hotdogs wear. The shot deflects off it's body and, as I saw in the frame-by-frame analysis, ricochets off the surrounding walls another three times before it exits the screen.
Stunned that his first shot hit - but had no effect - he fumbles to pull back the hammer for a second. That's when he takes a bullet to whereabouts his right arm, thus ending the hardcore run ... and game over. Though unsuccessful, Dave shooted his shot, an attempt was made, so I'm still proud of him.
